This week, we looked at the ONS-registered deaths in England and Wales.

In the week ending 7 April 2023 (Week 14), 10,089 deaths were registered in England and Wales. This is slightly below the average for this time of year; however, where Easter falls distorts any weekly comparisons.  

However, the story for 2023 so far makes for an interesting analysis.
