I am not quite sure what woke me up. The TV, probably.
It showed President-elect Wes Moore's inauguration (who rose to prominence in 2024 as Governor of Maryland). Moore takes over from President Kamala Harris at the end of her eight-year stint. Bands, snow flurries, and speeches, so I swiftly switched to another channel where two pundits discussed the sweeping healthcare changes in the previous decade.
Ah! More to my liking, I thought.
Then, I watched and tried to piece together events since falling asleep. After the old pandemic of Covid 19, a new one of cow flu mixed with Norovirus hastened the introduction of mandatory vaccination of all citizens against a whole spectrum of diseases, from 32 different respiratory viruses to diabetes to some nasty forms of cancer to Alzheimer's and atherosclerosis. When cow flu and norovirus struck in tandem, most governments bottled out and signed the WHO pandemic treaty, which required proof of vaccination against a specific disease to be reimburs…
