Dream or nightmare?

I am not quite sure what woke me up. The TV, probably.

It showed President-elect Wes Moore's inauguration (who rose to prominence in 2024 as Governor of Maryland). Moore takes over from President Kamala Harris at the end of her eight-year stint. Bands, snow flurries, and speeches, so I swiftly switched to another channel where two pundits discussed the sweeping healthcare changes in the previous decade. 

Ah! More to my liking, I thought. 

Then, I watched and tried to piece together events since falling asleep. After the old pandemic of Covid 19, a new one of cow flu mixed with Norovirus hastened the introduction of mandatory vaccination of all citizens against a whole spectrum of diseases, from 32 different respiratory viruses to diabetes to some nasty forms of cancer to Alzheimer's and atherosclerosis.
