The Welsh leg of the covid inquiry continues to reveal the disarray in decision-making. The testimony of  Dr Tracey Cooper (Chief Executive of Public Health Wales) revealed how mass testing was rolled out in Wales.

So, we learnt that a mass testing centre appeared in Wales without anyone knowing.

Deloittes did fairly well during the pandemic. They were one of the big winners due to the government's reliance on consultants; they were awarded public sector contracts worth £280m - that’s the ones we know about.

Government officials revealed that the test-and-trace system paid the private consultancy firm nearly a million pounds daily. Operation Moonshot wanted to test a million people a day, so it was time to cash in. In 2021, Deloitte's 691 equity partners shared operating profits of £590m - The average profit per partner went up from £731,000 in 2020 to £854,000.
