Good stuff. I hope you are including the overdiagnosis of a "high" cholesterol, the level of which gets lower and lower and is irrelevant anyway! There's quite a bit on the Net at the moment about overtreatment of hypertension. Certainly an issue; I have seen more than one patient whose antihypertensive medication resulted in recurrent postural faints, and one should remember that stiff cerebral arteries require an increased driving pressure...
Delighted to see this conference even exists. Hopefully it will awaken those doctors entrenched in the system and get them back to basics of diagnosis based on clinical symptoms, as well as confirmatory tests.

Yes, I've got hypertension and raised cholesterol - I'm 71 and enjoy my life to the full. My Dad lived to 99 so I'll take my chances!
