To be honest, folks, we do not know what to make of the study by Cooper et al.

It seems to be a jumble of surveillance, lipid level analyses, infection rates and direct observations of school children and their precautions. As usual, no protocol is mentioned, so we cannot check what the initial purpose of the study was, but it is likely to have been redesigned several times during the course of its life.
