What The IMMDS Review Says
The IMMDS Review, led by Baroness Cumberlege, was announced in February 2018 to examine how the healthcare system responded to concerns raised by patients and families about three medical interventions: transvaginal surgical mesh, sodium valproate, and Hormone Pregnancy Tests.
The report was published in the midst of the pandemic, so it went somewhat unnoticed, and many of the recommendations have been slow to get going.
