I’m grateful to all four of you for your incredibly hard work.
The Scottish Covid Inquiry testimonies are shocking, so shocking that I think some (many?) people are squeamish about it. It truly goes from heartbreak to heartbreak. If anyone here hasn’t heard of it, look it up.
But your work shines light on the regulatory agencies. It’s incredibly important and needs the breadth and depth of coverage you are providing. Please keep it up.
I agree with Jolene; you have unrivalled expertise in analysing the documents of the facilitators/enablers; how they try to weave through, what should be obligations on them
"we have received messages asking why we have not looked at .. the Scottish inquiry. "
let others do that; keep away from commenting; we need your analysis; all best wishes
Being my usual bright spark, it’s you Tom as you are credited as the author…no pulling the wool over my eyes. You cannot be all things to all people but the work the two old geezers are doing is concise, unflinching and accurate. Of course you make mistakes - we’re all human. What you don’t do is lie, obfuscate and most importantly you cannot be bought. A quality sadly lacking everywhere. I, for one along with Vivian, value your work immensely - it’s the first thing I read every morning, I digest what you say and explore further. No pressure, but I couldn’t have stayed sane without your work.
Well, now that you, the one old geezer, has let off steam, I hope you'll take your dog for a nice long walk - the weather is nice and feels mild after the few arctic days we had. Down here we even had an eight of an inch of snow - for three hours ...
I'll just say that I value your hard work immensely, especially the quotes from the relevant articles/letters/reports wehre there's always a sentence or two which inadvertently gives their game away.
(If the climate zealots were really on the ball, they'd get the Met Office to place their measuring devices inside the HoC and certain Department buildings: the hot air produced inside would firmly support their cry for Net Zero ...)
The work you two old geezers have been diligently carrying out is what has kept many of us sane. I thought I was going mad during the pandemic years as all that we were taught about the immune system, cross infection control and disease transmission previously was denied - and I felt I was subject to gaslighting. I had no one to talk to,as all around me,old uni classmates who were highly intelligent surgeons, professors, pathologists, asked no questions and made little effort to seek evidence or question the data. The only person who understood was my brother, who works in medical publishing and deals with 'big pharma'
pharma.
So, on a personal level I thank you for saving my sanity! We just need to clone you both, and your dogs if necessary, so you can have some assistance in your Herculean endeavours!
It is sad that “many are unwilling to part with tuppence”.
Keep reminding people to support TTE with a paid subscription!
When people take an interest in what you do, they should not only feel entitled to take out the interest (knowledge) but also feel the need to support TTE financially.
With ongoing contributions, "Trust The Evidence" could grow into an important office, attracting young, enthusiastic number crunchers who see the necessity to maintain Evidence-Based Medicine rather than pharmaceutical industry-informed mainstream media sales techniques.
It could be similar to Iain Chalmers Cochrane's idea; however, this time, developing an actual publicly funded initiative.
What you do is to provide a capstan upon which to fasten instinct, sanity, reason and justice. If it helps you to let off some steam, the least we can do is to listen. I seriously doubt I would still be here without you old geezers, and a few geezers from the U.S. who still have a grip on reality. The fantasy world created by the 'informers' is a bit like being trapped inside a badly drawn Disney film: if you dissent from the 'reality' there is still a mighty pushback from often surprising quarters. ( Oh dear...my imagination is now drawing me into a scenario where the Wicked Queen, disguised as the warty old stranger at the door, offers the 'juicy red apple' to Snow White...but some parallels, no?) I still cannot speak to the people I love most in the world about the 'V word', nor can I innocently mention that I read an article by yourselves, or a few other medically qualified and eminently experienced critics of the status quo. It's a bit like living as an undercover cop, because it feels truly inauthentic. That's despite the clear evidence that I haven't had all the long-term issues they have experienced, but which are sometimes dismissed as 'COVID'.
" The fantasy world created by the 'informers' is a bit like being trapped inside a badly drawn Disney film"
so much of the narratives that we are endlessly fed Linda; seems crafted by folks moonlighting from the movies ..... fantasy everywhere
" It's a bit like living as an undercover cop," but we find we can speak more about the jabs; folks now seem to want to listen; they have been deserted by those that forced the jabs on them; like swimming naked, the tide has gone out and they feel exposed; many regret being jabbed it seems
You old geezers are appreciated and loved by many. I read this morning that Vincent Van Gogh died age 37 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He created over 2,000 works of art including 800 oil paintings some of which have sold at auction for tens of millions yet he sold only one work during his lifetime.
I'm probably among many readers who eschew commentary to spare you the effort of reading so much but I want to wish you a healthy, successful 2025 with all the admiration and affection that your steadfast efforts have naturally engendered.
A non scientific observation. The only people I know right now during “flu season”, who are unwell from a winter bug, have all received covid vaxxes and a flu jab. Okay, I know, coincidence is not cause…….
Thank you both again for wonderful reads, information certainly not available in msm, and my wishes to you both, for a blessed 2025.
Just wanted to send loving cuddles to both old geezers and a wee pat for the dogs too ,and try and tell you just how much you are admired ,respected and sincerely loved by those of us whose hearts and minds function as they should, far from perfectly but 100% with genuine love of truth
Thank You both for who you are and all that you do
You are both on Gods Book Of Life for sure XXXXXXXXXXX
I really appreciate all that you and your dogs do. I have a warped sense of humour to match yours and I guess Carl uses his at the coal face in hospitals to help in bad situations. I've known a number of nurses over the years and they use a, sometimes morbid SOH, to help cope.
You help to keep me informed and grounded. Thanks.
It is highly likely this transmission to you elderly gentlemen will be taken down by the creepies. However let me continue. It is about time chlorine dioxide was re-introduced to the medical world, as its one of the most versatile disinfectants known, and was taken down in the fifties and replaced with anti-biotics, which are now failing, by you know who. Any previous experience?
"Novel probe-based RT-PCR assays for non-influenza viral targets were developed and validated."
.... ah ...... novel is the way to go; we love novel; always a sure-fire winner; brand-new and we say it is validated; sort of like experimental and unproven; like everything in our marvellous world of virology: the CPE (cytopathic effects); cells dying when we don't feed them, and we use toxic antibiotics and antifungals on them; claiming to grow the V-word in strange kidney cells; (which are susceptible to nephotoxic antibiotics and antifungals); then being unable to grow the same thing in respiratory cells; (that we claim the thing infects so readily ..) .... oh, OK; I got that; stands to reason ......... you can't grow it in respiratory cells that it so easy infects .. I trust all you say: novel and validated; just keep on telling me endless truths ........
I’m grateful to all four of you for your incredibly hard work.

You are just a wonderful investigative Team, just keep up the good work 🥰

Stick at it Tom (and Carl), and the canines.
Lots of unspoken support out there.

The only interesting thing I found about Metapneumo happened in late 2021/early 2022

Figure 2 is of interest although I would never draw any conclusions of course......
