I draw the line at dancing semi-naked in the streets! Not with the state my knees are in, I'm not! And that doesn't even take into account not wanting to frighten the horses!
Not sure about cost but how much would a half page ad in a couple of national newspapers be? I for one, am happy to support a crowd funder to run ads drawing public attention to this fiasco. Perhaps to cover both end of the spectrum - the Daily Mail and the Guardian - neither of theses are bastions of free speech but perhaps we could shame the UKHSA into action?
Also what about appealing to the Information Commissioners Office ? I’ve done this twice previously with some success. This is a quote from their website :-
“Part of our role is to improve the information rights practices of organisations by gathering and dealing with concerns raised by members of the public.
Each year we address tens of thousands of enquiries, written concerns and complaints about information rights issues.
How we deal with the concerns reported to us
Once a concern is raised with us, we record and consider it.
In some cases, we collate further information on similar issues, looking at the concern alongside others raised about the organisation. All concerns raised contribute to our understanding of an organisation’s performance against its obligations and will help us decide on any improvements we might expect them to make.
In cases where a clear and serious breach of the legislation has taken place, we will take direct action on the specific concern raised. If we decide that there has been a serious failure to comply with the law, we will provide advice and instruction to help ensure the organisation gets it right in future. If an organisation isn’t taking its responsibilities seriously, we may also take enforcement action. In the most serious cases, we can serve a monetary penalty of up to £17.5 million, or 4% of your total worldwide annual turnover, whichever is higher. “
I think you need to get GBNEWS onto this, Dr Renee Hoedenkamp sings from the same hymn sheet as you do on most matters. She's regularly on the early Saturday evening slot with Darren Grimes, and this is the sort of issue they would be all over like a rash....possible waste of public funds (again) when they keep whining about a mythical 22 billion black hole, and freezing pensioners to bung the hole up.....My mp while responsive, unfortunately he was a covid jabber during the Unpleasantness so I'm afraid he's likely to see this as "money we'll spent". But GBnews I think would definitely take this and run with it....
well done; a great response; I love the clarity of the language; I can see Sir Humphrey harrumphing away ...... insolent peasants questioning their masters ........

But otherwise, I'll do me best.
Hi guys

Fear and shame are wonderful motivators!

and their street address in Cheshire
Excellent response, thanks Old Geezers. If they don't provide the cost now, perhaps the ONS will force their hand?

Ofcom would use it to close them down. Another organisation that needs a reset.
Nah, have you seen their coverage of the rape gangs scandal? This is tame by comparison.
The post content was mentioned during the parliamentary debate on the MHRA this afternoon in the Commons.
Well be covering that soon
Best, Tom.

If we are talking of threat - assessment, do we need to ask Professor Neil Ferguson of Imperial College to run us up a quick model ??
