If there's no immunity provided by those vaccines, why buy them with our money, and force them on us?

This really deserves a much wider audience. I wonder if the BMJ would publish a version? They would have done in the past but I'm not so sure now with the current editorial bias and conflicts of interest.
I followed up with my MP, who was going to talk to Streeting about this vaccine purchase. She has now gone on maternity leave, it I got a message that someone else will follow up. Will update when I hear more.

The 17-to-1 vaccine-to-placebo ratio of deaths is incorrect because there were very different numbers in the vaccine (4758) and placebo (796) groups according to your previous post

Wonder if UK needs to make defence industry a priority rather than biosciences - defence of the realm is the first priority and these vaccines seem to be overhyped. Trump may just have done us a favour.
